Model's name:Christian Kane
Personality: Lindsey is a go-getter. He has had to work for everything he's ever gotten. He hates being wrong and will go to great lengths to get what he believes he deserves. When proven wrong, however, Lindsey will concede to defeat.
He has proven time and again that even though he works for W&H, he does have a small bit of conscience and will act against his bosses if he thinks it's worth it. He falls in love easily and holds his core family values in high esteem.
Lindsey likes country music. He sings songs of that genre often at Caritas. His love of music seems to set him apart from his colleagues at the firm.
His competitiveness is shown in his race with Lilah Morgan to be head of the Special Projects division of W&H, which he later lets her have when he leaves the firm, but not before taking a quick grab of her backside, citing his 'evil hand', and smiling at her.
All in all, Lindsey doesn't think of himself as truly evil. He sees himself as more of a guy who had it hard and deserves to live the good life. When people get in the way of that dream he reacts, often physically, often dangerously.

History:
Born into poverty, Lindsey was one of six children, all of whom shared a room. Sometime before his seventh birthday two of his siblings died of the flu. Shortly afterward his home was repossessed, leaving the children to either fend for themselves or placed in foster care.
After finishing High School, Lindsey attended the University of California, Hastings College of Law. It was while he was there that he was recruited by the demonic law firm Wolfram and Hart. He began working in the mail room, making friends with a guy named Dave. It took a lot of hard work but Lindsey managed to climb the ladder into the high ranking circle of Lawyers that made up W&H's core team.
Representing demons, Vampires, humans and all other sorts of beings, Lindsey made a name for himself as a most valued employee. His standing in the firm was good until Angel killed one of his vampire clients by kicking his chair out a window into broad daylight, causing said vampire to burst into flames and then dust before ever hitting the ground. It was then that Lindsey decided that Angel had to be eliminated.
As a way to foresee anything that may be a problem in his future, Lindsey frequented the club Caritas, a Karaoke bar, there Lorne, or "The Host" as he was called, would read the futures of the patrons who sang on stage. Lindsey was a skilled performer, often bringing and playing his own guitar.
Lindsey was instrumental in the resurrection of Darla, after which Angel cut off his right hand with an axe. Afterward, Lindsey had to wear a prosthetic. This only served as a reminder of how much he hated Angel.
Lindsey has had one bad relationship after another. First, after falling in love with the resurrected and human Darla, Lindsey finds himself not only spurned but downright rejected by Darla, who is eventually turned back into a vampire by Drusilla. Lindsey was present for the transformation. He still, however, remained enamored of Darla. Darla and Drusilla hold Lindsey and several other lawyers from W&H hostage in the wine cellar of Holland Manner's home. Lindsey wakes to the aftermath only one of two survivors. The other being Lilah Morgan.
Darla used Lindsey's affections for her own gain, and after sleeping with Angel, cleared out of Lindsey's apartment, where she'd been staying, and left, leaving Lindsey with few answers. In his rage over Darla's sleeping with Angel, Lindsey attacks the vampire with a sledge hammer, and is subsequently knocked unconscious. Angel uses the sledgehammer to pulverize Lindsey's prosthetic hand.
In the following months, Lindsey is given a new hand by W&H. His "new" hand, turns out belongs to his old mail room friend, Dave. In a seemingly sudden change of heart, Lindsey and Angel team up, albeit briefly, to destroy the laboratory where the unwilling victims of his and other transplants are being held. Those that are able to leave are freed while Lindsey, at the request of his old buddy, turns off Dave's life support, thus killing him. Angel, afterward, blows the building up. After this incident, Lindsey, citing his "evil hand" issues, as well as his distaste for the Firm's policies, leaves Los Angeles.
A couple of years later, Lindsey, newly returned from a soul searching journey, develops a relationship with Eve, the current Liaison to the Senior Partners. Together they hatch a plan to drive Angel insane and break apart his team who have just been installed as the new core group at W&H's LA branch.
After several unsuccessful attempts to destroy Angel and his team, Lindsey, covered in mystical tattoos that keep him under the SP's radar, walked boldly into Wolfram and Hart and went down into a supposedly hidden room where he activates an imprisoned demon whose sole purpose is to destroy Angel.
Angel gets wind of this plan and, with the help of his team, stops the rise of this demon as well as cast a spell to remove Lindsey's tattoos. Suddenly visible to the SPs, Lindsey is sucked into a holding dimension until the SPs can decide what to do with him.
A couple of months later, Angel, Gunn and Spike travel by a mystical car to the holding dimension to retrieve Lindsey because, as they were told by Eve, Lindsey had information on the SPs and a secret society called the Circle of the Black Thorn. No one else had this information, so Angel was forced to rescue Lindsey from his Hell.
This Hell, turns out, was a sunny suburbia. Lindsey had a pretty blond wife and an equally towheaded son. Each day, He would go about things as if life were perfect, then his wife would ask him to get him something from the basement. While in the basement, Lindsey is tortured by a demon who would cut out his heart. This same, or similar day, would repeat itself, over and over. Lindsey was only freed when Gunn, of his own volition, took Lindsey's place so Angel could execute his plans to destroy the SPs.
Again, though neither of them really like the idea, Lindsey and Angel team up, this time to stop the Apocalypse. Along with Lorne, Lindsey is issued the task of eliminating the Sahvrin demon clan. The pair are successful. However, it seems, Angel never really thought of Lindsey as part of the solution and as such, has Lorne kill Lindsey by shooting him in the chest twice
with a silenced pistol.

He shot me?! That Green Freak shot me! Lindsey felt the weightlessness of dying, if that it was. The world was not only going to hell in a literal way but he was going to beat everyone there by an hour or so. With his last few ragged breaths, the only thing on Lindsey's mind wasn't what anyone would have suspected. Not Eve, not Darla, not even the fear of death. It was his regret that he hadn't been able to repay Angel for his apparent 'trust'.
Then, it was all gone. No pain, no breath, no heartbeat. Just... gone.. And then, all of a sudden, there was a rush of oxygen into his lungs, making him choke a little.
Light shone in his eyes and Lindsey blinked a few times, trying to adjust to it. "Am I dead?" he asked. what a stupid question, of course you're dead he thought.
"Get up, Lindsey." came a voice. A woman's voice. "You look like hell. And no, not dead in a strict sense, resurrected would be the better term." He knew that voice.
Turning his head to look at the female voice Lindsey was surprised to see Lilah Morgan standing over him. "Damn." he said dejectedly. "I am dead. And I have to spend an eternity in hell... with you."
Lilah rolled her eyes. "Get up." she ordered again. "Here." she tossed a clean shirt into his lap. "You have work to do."
Lindsey groaned as he shifted his body weight and stood up. The wounds in his chest were gone, but the bloody holes in his shirt remained. "I liked this shirt too." he mused as he changed, not noticing Lilah as she raised an eyebrow at his bare chest. Once he had changed his shirt he looked at Lilah incredulously. "Why should I trust you?" he asked "What have you ever done for me?"
Lilah mocked being hurt but said nothing. She only turned and walked away. Lindsey followed out of habit, not knowing what he could be walking into. Lilah disappeared into the rainy night before Lindsey could reach the door. His ribs hurt, like he had been in a bad car wreck, or had the crap beat out of him.
As he stepped out into the alley he noticed Lilah was nowhere to be found. Scratching his head he wondered what had happened. There was nowhere for her to hide or duck into. She had just.. disappeared. "Weird." he said aloud as he stepped into the rain.
The sounds of demons and other such Hell-creatures screamed and wailed overhead. Looking up, Lindsey noticed a Behemoth.. and a dragon. "Huh, well, I never...." he sighed. "A dragon even. Angel must have really pissed them off this time. So much for the Golden Boy." He walked a few more steps, continually musing aloud. "So much for the Shanshu Prophecy. Save the world... yeah, looks like it."
Making his way back to his apartment he noticed that Eve wasn't there. He wondered briefly where she was then realized that it was possible that Angel had her killed too. "Bastard!" he grumbled as he poured himself a drink. After being shot.. twice, Dying and coming back, he needed a drink. Something that would burn on the way down, to remind him he really was alive.
Taking the bottle of Jack and his glass over to the sofa. He pulled open the drapes and sat down, fully prepared to watch the coming Apocalypse. Fully prepared to meet said Apocalypse drunk off his ass.
( OOC: This is my old application for this. I know the character well enough, I think. But I wanted to post an app so no one would think I was just going out and giving myself characters.)
