Since there are new people playing Faith and Oz, I thought it was only proper to rewrite James' history and fact sheet.

History:
James Foley was born in 1976, in a small town just outside of Dublin. He came over to the United States with his parents in 1988, and both were killed by vampires six months later.
James lived with a group of homeless teenagers in South Boston from right after the death of his parents until 1995, when the group of seven were attacked by a werewolf, only two of them survived, both being infected with lycanthropy. James was the first, the other was Ava Rivers, who fled south to Florida afterwards and has not been seen by the Irishman since, although he still keeps an eye out for his longtime friend.
In 1997, after spending almost two years drifting around the country, James returned to Ireland, and after spending a year working as muscle for local gangsters, left on a four year road trip around Europe and Asia. During his travels he encountered Alistair Cain, a member of a renowned family of werewolf hunters, and kills him after a gun fight. James steals Cain’s silver katana afterwards.
In 2002, James ended his tour of Europe and Asia and returned to the United States, taking up work as a bounty hunter and mercenary, including freelance work for the Boston and NYC branches of Wolfram & Hart.
In 2003, James was in Los Angeles, looking for Gwen Raiden as part of a job, and was in the city when the beast blotted out the sun. James was soon after forced to abandon his search for Gwen when two other members of the Cain family tracked him down, and he fled Los Angeles rather than kill again.
About three months later, James returned to LA, to resume the search for Gwen, who had already moved on. On his way out of California, James drove through the small town of Sunnydale, just a few days prior to the fall, and found himself drawn to the odd little town, and making a mental note to return one day. That day has come.
