How did you find us?
I believe I first found you guys from a Google search in November. I was looking to get back into a Buffy RPG, so I signed up. After, I realized you guys weren't active so I never posted.
How many characters do you already have here?
Zero, but I would like to play a few eventually.
Character's full name:
Faith Lehane
Age:
Born December 14, 1980. I figure it would make her about 24, if we're going with the "Plot Starting Point." If we are going forward from what was going on with the person who used to play Faith, I'm unsure.
Group Species:
Slayer
Gender:
Female
Alignment:
Good, now.
Features:
Faith is roughly 130 lbs and 5'5" tall. She has wavy brown hair and brown eyes. She has a tribal tattoo on her upper arm. She also sports a slight knife scar on her lower abdomen from a fight with Buffy Summers.
Character Image:
Model's name:
Eliza Dushku
Personality:
On the surface, Faith seems simple. She’s a strong woman who’s confident and sure of herself. She rarely relies on other people, so she really doesn’t care what they think of her. She doesn’t always know the right thing to say, but that doesn’t stop her from saying whatever’s on her mind which sometimes leads her to end up sticking her own foot in her mouth. She’s spunky, and it’s infectious. She’s sexy, and she knows it. She knows what she wants, and she doesn’t hesitate to get it.
On the odd, rare chance Hell froze over and she let you in, you’d see that Faith is a lot more complex. Her damaged background, which includes an abusive, alcoholic mother, instilled in Faith a need for being hard to counter life’s tough punches. She relies on herself simply because that’s all she knows. She longs to be close to someone, but she learned long ago that most people will screw you over in the end, and the ones that care enough to stick around will usually end up dead. She’s spunky because she learned it’s the best way to attract people to get what she wants. She’s sexy because she learned that sexy girls get the most from idiot guys. She has absolutely no clue what she wants, but she’s actually at the brink of discovering what she doesn’t want… her life the way she’s been living it.
Likes:
Dancing. Dogs. Guys, usually when she needs something from them. Attention. Music. Fighting. Slaying. Sex. Getting her way. Reading magazines. Junk food. Saying five by five.
Dislikes:
People who act “holier-than-thou.” The feeling of helplessness. People who take themselves too seriously. Fake people. Authority figures.
Strengths:
Slayer strength. Increased agility and reflexes. Body tends to be more resilient and heals faster. Heightened senses. Somewhat prophetic dreams. Natural slayer instincts, such as fighting skills.
Weaknesses:
Faith can be killed by any normal human means.
Slayers can also be reduced to almost human with an injected concoction of muscle relaxants and adrenal suppressors developed by the Watcher’s Council to strip slayers of their powers to test them on their 18th birthday. This effect is temporary and wears off within a few days.
History:
Faith was born December 14, 1980 in Boston, Massachusetts. Her parents were abusive alcoholics with her dad leaving them when she was little, which leads to Faith developing trust and emotional issues early in life. After being called as a slayer, she enjoys the attention and companionship of her watcher, who she looks up to as a parental figure. However, the vampire Kakistos brutally kills her watcher in front of Faith, which causes her to retreat to Sunnydale.
In Sunnydale, she becomes a friend of Buffy Summers and aids her in slaying. While at first being an ally to the good guys, she suffers several setbacks that set her down a new path. She gets a new watcher in the form of Gwendolyn Post, who tries to drive a wedge between Faith and good guys before eventually being exposed as a bad guy herself, which only further makes Faith weary of trusting people. Faith then get a new watcher in the form of Wesley Wyndam Price, but he is young and rarely respected by Faith (or Buffy) as an official watcher. During this period, she also sleeps with Buffy’s friend Xander.
Unfortunately, her good guy status did not last long. One night Faith accidentally kills the deputy mayor, which begins her decent to the side of evil. She almost sexually assaults and chokes Xander. Her watcher Wesley also captures her for the Watchers Counsel, but she escapes and disappears. She effectively seeks out the Mayor, and their relationship blossoms into a father/daughter type of relationship. She uses her inclusion into the Scooby Gang to spy on the good guys, and the spying continues until she is exposed by Buffy and Angel (pretending to be Angelus). During this period, she kidnaps Buffy’s friend Willow, and she wants to kill her but doesn’t. Later, she shoots Angel with a poisoned arrow to which the only cure is for the infected to drain the blood of a slayer. Buffy tracks Faith down at her apartment that the Mayor furnishes for her, and Buffy intends to bring Faith to Angel so that he can drain her of her blood, effectively killing her and curing himself. After a lengthy fight, Buffy stabs Faith in the gut with Faith’s prized knife the Mayor purchased for her. She then falls off the building into the back of a truck, which speeds off, robbing Buffy of her cure. After this Buffy allows Angel to drink her blood, which cures him, but puts Buffy in the hospital for severe blood loss.
Faith is in a coma for 8 months until she finally awakens. Discovering that Buffy and her friends have killed the mayor, she is devastated. However, she finds a Draconian Katra that the mayor left for her, which allows her to switch bodies with Buffy. In Buffy’s body, Faith hurts relationships with Buffy’s friends, flirts with vampire Spike, and has sex with Buffy’s new boyfriend Riley. Despite at first treating “being Buffy” as a joke, Faith soon comes to realize that she is envious of Buffy’s life. She’s about to fly out of Sunnydale in Buffy’s body when she sees a church being attacked by vampires. She leaves to save the hostages, and is joined by Buffy in Faith’s body, who has escaped extradition to England to atone for crimes Faith had committed. The girls beat the vampires, and Faith shows a vulnerable side as she beats Buffy, who’s wearing her body, to a pulp while screaming things at her that she believes about herself. Finally, Buffy grabs Faith’s hand, and they switch back bodies with the help of magic from Willow and her girlfriend Tara.
After her latest excursion in Sunnydale, Faith heads to Los Angeles where she causes trouble until approached by representatives from the evil law firm Wolfram & Hart who hire her to kill Angel. She tortures her old watcher Wesley, who now lives in Los Angeles and helps Angel and his crew fight bad guys. Finally Angel stops her, and Faith begs for Angel to end her life. However, Angel decides not to give up on her. After a bit, Faith begins to feel remorse for her crimes. Cue Buffy, who comes to Los Angeles, looking to get revenge on Faith for yet again attempting to destroy her life by doing the body switch. The Watcher’s Council also sends people in an attempt to kill Faith. After Angel and Buffy save her, she turns herself in to the police for the murder of the deputy mayor as well as the death of a volcanologist that she killed for the mayor. She receives a life sentence, which she’d serve at least twenty-five years of.
While in jail, Faith is attacked by an agent of the First Evil, who is attempting to end the slayer line by killing all slayers and potential slayers. However, she stops the person and also stops herself from killing the person, instead breaking the lady’s wrist.
Faith spends about three years in jail, before her ex-watcher Wesley visits her in jail. He tells her that Angel has lost his soul and has become the Angelus again. Faith breaks out of jail to help get the old Angel back. After several altercations with him, Faith decides to sacrifice herself by drinking a vial of a mystical drug called Orpheus. Once Angelus drinks her blood, she hopes the drug in it will subdue him until Willow works the Ritual of Restoration, a spell meant to restore Angel’s soul. While unconscious, Faith astral projects into Angel’s subconscious where she meets up with both Angelus and Angel. Angel persuades her to fight to live.
When she wakes up, she goes with Willow to help Buffy and the rest of the good guys take down the first evil. Her and Buffy have a few words, but ultimately Buffy realizes she needs Faith to help fight. After Buffy mistakenly leads the potential slayers into a fight where several potentials die and Xander loses an eye, Faith is appointed temporary leader of the group. This doesn’t last long, though, as Faith leads the potential slayers into a trap set for them by Caleb, an ex-preacher who is working for the First Evil. Faith is wounded, and during this time she and Buffy make peace, noting that they probably don’t get along because two slayers aren’t supposed to exist at the same time. Ultimately, Faith helps Buffy stop the First Evil’s plan to open the Hellmouth and release an army of uber-vampires called the Turok-Han by having Willow use a Scythe in a spell to activate every potential slayer in the world. This allows for the girls to hold off the vampires as they try to escape, and the vampire with a soul Spike uses an amulet to project beams of sunlight, which destroy the Sunnydale Hellmouth.

I got most of the information from my own mind, since I love the character of Faith. However, some of the info/details came from the Faith Lehane Buffyverse Wiki as well as the Faith (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) Wikipedia page.
RP Sample:
(Note, this is just a sample. I realize there is no God-modding, and I would never do it. However, I took the liberty of controlling a couple of NPCs for the purpose of this sample. Additionally, I put Faith in Cleveland, but I'm open and willing to put her anywhere you guys think she should be.)
The moon was full and seemed to cast a glow over the entire city of Cleveland. The night air was blowing in from Lake Eerie, filling the town with near-freezing temperatures. That fact usually kept normal residents off the streets late at night, but the bundled up brunette walking the sidewalk down Brookpark Road was anything but normal.
Faith was making her way to the airport, and since it wasn’t far too from her apartment, she figured she’d kill two birds with one stone by walking to meet her arriving guest and getting a little patrolling action in. So far, though, she’s been out of luck in the whole “dusting vampires” category. She was hoping that might change with Holy Cross Cemetery coming up in a block or two.
It had been months since the destruction of the Sunnydale Hellmouth, and with Buffy working on assembling the newly called Slayers all over the world, Faith had been assigned the Cleveland Hellmouth's guardian. Things had been five by five, ‘side from a few almost apocalypses. She’d handled them pretty decently, she’d thought. That being said, Giles still insisted that she be sent a watcher. With the Watchers Counsel in England being blown up, finding someone suitable enough to aide her had proven to be a chore, and Giles was just now sending someone he felt was competent enough to take on the role.
They told her that the new watcher's purpose was so that “she'd have someone to confide in and someone to help with research,” but Faith couldn't help but feel like whoever they'd send was there simply to make sure she didn't go crazy and start killing people again. And hell, maybe they were right to be worried. Her past always seemed to catch up with her and rear it’s ugly head. She let out a loud sigh, cracked her knuckles, and stretched her arms one-at-a-time across her chest. If she hadn’t of sworn off cigarettes, this would have been the perfect time to light up.
Suddenly, a scream broke through her thoughts, and her face lit up with anticipation. "Finally," she said under her breath as she took off in the direction of the commotion. Within seconds, she was in a dark alley with two other figures. A normal person would think two lovebirds were getting freaky in the cover of darkness, but again, she wasn’t normal.
“You wanna try a threesome?” she yelled out to the figures. The bigger one spun around, revealing the known all-too-well bumpy forehead and yellow eyes of a vampire. “Gotta warn ya though, I like it wicked rough.” With the last word, she swiftly snatched out her stake from the inside of her jacket. The vampire’s snack fell to the ground in a crumpled pile, as Faith and the vampire took steps towards each other to begin the inevitable fight.
“Guess she’s not in the mood,” Faith quipped, pointing at the girl the vamp had been draining with the pointy end of her stake. “Figure you and I can still make a go of it, though.”
The vampire lunged at her, and Faith quickly dodged out of the way leaving an opening for Faith to punch him hard in the face with her free hand. It barely phased him, though, and he quickly grabbed the spunky slayer and threw her against a wall, sending her stake flying. Anger swelled in her, and she used it to quickly dodge a punch, which connected with the brick wall behind her. In a swift motion, she uppercutted the vamp sending him sailing in the air.
Faith quickly glanced around for her weapon to no avail. She spun back around to her attacker and was immediately met with a punch to the face, sending her stumbling backwards. Another punch from the vamp connected, Faith’s head snapped back, and her whole body flew through the air before she landed on a pile of boxes and trash. Pain mixed with the possibility of defeat by a creature who was so much less powerful than creatures she’s faced before, and she used the concoction swirling in her body to pull herself back to her feet. She brushed the back of her hand up to her now busted lip, and pulled it away taking a second to look at the blood.
“You said you liked it rough,” the vampire growled at her, smiling. “I’ll make you scream for me to stop.”
Faith paused, partially to catch her breath and partially to take a moment to scan the space for her stake. She spotted it, lying close to the alley’s entrance hiding in a shadow of a wall.
"Oh, really?” Faith answered, returning the smile. “It’s been a good while since I met someone who could keep up.”
With that, they ran towards one another, but just as they were going to meet, Faith leapt up and somersaulted over the vampire. When her feet landed, she flung her body forward, rolling and picking up her stake in one quick move. When she spun around to face him, it only took her a second to find her target. With a jerk of her arm, the stake was flying through the air. It connected and quickly found it's intended target, the vampire's heart.
“Nice try, big guy,” she said, just before his body transformed into dust and her stake hit the ground with a “clank.” She brushed herself off and again dabbed at her split lip with the back of her hand. She glanced over at the girl, who had managed to pull herself out of the way and was attempting to stand up. Faith rushed her and pulled her to her feet.
“Hey. You okay?” she asked.
The girl swallowed. “I-I think so. And that guy bit me,” she added, partially a statement to Faith and partially to assure herself that yes, she had been bitten by someone.
Faith tucked her stake back in her jacket. “Yeah. They do that,” she told her, purposely leaving out the bit about who “they” were. “You should watch who you go sneakin’ off into dark alleys with.”
The girl nodded slowly, still taking everything all in.
Faith turned and walked out of the alley, leaving the dazed girl behind. She paused and thought that she might should help the girl home, but in an effort to ignore the awkwardness of it all, decided against it. She was still trying to figure out how all this “Good Guy Hero” stuff worked, and instead of pretending to be Buffy, she opted instead to do the good deed, check to make sure whomever she saved was actually saved, and split the scene.
Anyway, pretending to be Buffy hadn't always worked out in her favor.
She decided to jog the rest of the few miles until she got to the airport, careful not to think too much about anything in particular. She’d left early enough to ensure that she was able to get to the airport in time, but with that vamp encounter, she was definitely pushing it. When she got to the baggage area, she took a seat near the back away from the few people that stood around. A few minutes later, a herd of people appeared and swarmed one of the baggage carousels. Faith stood to get a better view.
Suddenly, she spotted a familiar face…
