Chaos and disorder ran rampant through the small town of Sunnydale, California. That is, until the Slayer arrived. During the Seven years Buffy the Vampire Slayer was aired, we have watched our favorite characters fight, runaway, die, come back to life, and deal with the usual problems of living. It all ended with Sunnydale's destruction. The last thing we see is Buffy Summers, Vampire Slayer, smiling. We can all picture what she is thinking... "It's over, it's finally over." Deep in her heart of hearts she knew the relief and happiness was only temporary. All Slayers know the truth. It's part of their abilities. Next to their Slayer strength, combat moves, and senses, they all know the truth... It's never over.
All plots are based after the final TV Seasons of Buffy and Angel. Please play and plot in accordance with this guideline. This only applies to Canon Characters.

Beginning
Hi there and welcome to Buffy the RPG! First, let me fill you in on the Cannon Characters. The Major Characters are required to be very active, so if you don't think you're going to be too active, choose a small part. There is a huge list of characters, now, they won't be available to you at registration time, but you can audition for the part in the above listed link. Also worth noting: I, Buffy Summers, am the Sole owner of this site. There are several staff members who can help you along your way, however, I will ALWAYS have the final say about what goes on here at UB. My members are ALWAYS welcome to PM me directly with ANY problem, big or small.
All the Information you will need to make your character is located in the Character Info and Bio's Board.
The BIG Rules
1. Do not disrespect anyone on this site.
2. Do not post another members reaction. Only you may post your characters reactions. This is called God Modding, or G modding, and it will not be tolerated!
3. Ties in with Rule #2. Do not post what someone else is going to say.
4. Create as many threads as you want, PM a character if you wish to RP with them in that thread. Also indicate if the thread is [open] or [closed].
5. Be active. Simple and fun. If you play a cannon and have not logged into that cannon character account for 1 month it will be taken from you.
6. When posting in RP area's, your posts must be at least 3 paragraphs long. If you post 1-4 lines your post will be deleted, and your post count will be changed.
7. If you are having a problem with another member, a thread, or anything, please notifiy a staff member.
8. When in a fight thread, No member is GOD. No one has ultimate power. During a fight, you must use the dice. The only way to get to the dice is to modify your post. Please pm me if you find yourself in need of assistance.
9. You may fight who ever you want, in RP threads only. Keep within your characters limits. If you are a vampire, you will not be fighting in the daytime.
Rewards
If you do well on our site, you're active, you're helpful, and you follow the rules, here's what you may receive.
You may become a Moderator of the site. This is given to those who go above and beyond.
You may receive Member of the month. If you are active with good posts, involved with the missions, solve the missions, etc.
You may receive special recognition for well written stories, poems, or other fan fic.
Donating members will receive special thanks, custom avatars with matching signatures.
We will be instituing actual prizes. Such as, I, Buffy Summers, will mail you a custome Btvs or Angel magnet, pictures, keychains, etc. This will soon be in effect for members of the month!!!!
Characters
We ask that you only play ONE cannon character. Everyone out there deserves a chance to play a cannon role, so only 1 will be granted to each member. Please keep in mind that I may or may not allow certain members a second, but those members have earned the right to play as such.
It is required that you post a Bio. Thankfully, your character application acts as your Bio, so that will be all you need to do You will be asked to choose a side. You can either be a Hero, or a Villain. Potential Slayers can be evil, choose wisely.
Posting RP Style.
If you are new to Role Playing and are unsure of what it is I am talking about, please sign up for our RP Classes. You will meet other new members and get a very good idea of how you should write to make others respond to your posts. This is suggested for all new members.
In your posts: Please be sure to write in detail. Tell others what you look like, what you're wearing, what type of personality you have, etc. Anything and everything that you would notice about a stranger you just met is what you should post about yourself.
Posts should be done in the past tense. It just makes it easier to read. You should also Bold your name at the beginning of each in character post. To do this you simply place your name between these codes.

Ideas for this Site
I welcome ALL ideas. Anything you can think of to put us above the rest will be great! Please Pm them to me. Please be sure to look around the site and get to know it's contents before sending off your ideas, as it is aggravating to receive so many ideas that are already in use here.
Account Rules
If your account should go UN-active for 8 months or more, it will be deleted. Posts will be cleaned often, so your post count may or may not fluctuate. If you are going to be away on vacation or anything else, please send me a PM and I will not delete your account. This must be done especially if you're a cannon character.
Sig Rules
To ensure that this site keeps running smooth, and fast, it it recommended that signatures be 500x300 pixels. If you signature is larger than this, it will be deleted. If you would like to request a banner or a custom avatar, please post and ask here. Please be sure to mention hair color and eye color, to ensure you like what you get.
