Site Regulations

Characters of all shapes and sizes are welcome, as long as they can flow within the Buffyverse.

Canon Characters:::

Please don't ask to play more than 3 canon characters, especially if those canon's would normally interact on a weekly basis. You're here to RP with other people, not yourself.

1. All Canon Character shall act accordingly to the show/actors aspects. Don't do something you wouldn't see in the show.

2. If any Original Character wants a past with a Cannon it MUST be plotted out in RP. If your character didn't have a relationship in the show, it must be plotted here.

3. A brief reference may be made to a canon. For example, stating that you've met Buffy once before is fine, so long and that character agrees.

4. NO original characters will be approved until the referenced character posts, as such character, in the originals application, stating that the reference is alright. A PM may be sent to the character to ask them to review your application.

5. The "don't use it, you lose it" applies to all canon characters.

6. If you Wiki your canons history you MUST provide a link as well as posting such information in your own words. Anyone can copy and paste, we need to know that you know that canon.

7. When you are ACCEPTED, please post your face claim in the Models thread, and your character's statistics in the Character Stats thread.


Original Characters:::

1. They must fit into the btvs-verse, unless specifically created for an AU plot line.

2. All Vampire Slayers start out as Potentials until the staff sees fit to promote them to Slayer status. (potentials still have all slayer abilities, they are merely not permitted to patrol alone or lead their own groups.) This is mainly based off the end of season 7, the wicca coven were locating the potentials and rounding them up for training. This is still in effect. (though your potential could have fallen through the cracks of the mojo system.)

3. Vampires will not be permitted to have a soul, only Spike and Angel are vampires with souls. Their situations are very unique and cannot be duplicated.

4. ALL Characters will have an equal balance of strength and weakness! A weakness must be something that can be used against you in a fight!

5. All Watchers will start out on this site as Humans/Watchers in Training. Giles hand picks the Watchers for this site. Training is quick, so don't worry, you'll be a watcher in no time

6. Choose your character type wisely. We will no longer be allowing you to change it, (unless you were human to start with, then you can be turned into a vampire or shifter, etc- Please play as a human for at least 1 year!). How ever your history is written is how it will stay. You may add to it as your character grows but you will no longer be permitted to completely change your history. (not even if a key character is gone.)

7. When you are ACCEPTED, please post your face claim in the Models thread, and your character's statistics in the Character Stats thread.

Once your character is approved, it will be moved to the Bios area. If you are replacing a canon character that has already been accepted, your thread will be placed in Bios, and theirs will be moved to The Vaults.
